Overview
<p>Ecologists study many diverse and complex relationships between organisms and their environment. Ecology addresses biological processes at all levels of life, from interactions among individuals to the function of entire ecosystems at a global scale.</p> <p>In this course you will study fundamental ecological concepts such as the interaction between organisms and the interaction between organisms and the abiotic environment. Biogeochemical cycles, geological landscape processes, and the dynamics of populations and ecological communities are introduced. You will also learn to recognize and describe different Swedish biotopes, plan and conduct a simple ecological survey, and read and discuss ecological research papers. Ecological aspects of current environmental problems and human resource exploitation are also covered.</p>

General entry requirements + Mathematics 2a or 2b or 2c, Science studies 2, English 6 or Mathematics level 2a or level 2b or level 2c, Science studies level 2, English level 2. The level of English proficiency is normally demonstrated by an internationally recognized language test, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL.
