Overview
Kursen utforskar olika perspektiv på globalisering och analyserar de globala produktionsnätverkens geografi. Mer specifikt fokuserar kursen på kärnbegrepp och teorier relaterade till globala produktionsnätverk, globala värdekedjor, multinationella företag, samt offshoring och outsourcing. Internationella publikationer om utländska direktinvesteringar (FDI) och handelsdata, samt information hämtad från offentliga databaser används för att analysera och utvärdera de globala produktionsnätverkens organisering och geografi. Avslutningsvis behandlar kursen hur förändringar i den yttre miljön och framväxten av ny teknik påverkar omvandlingen av de globala produktionsnätverken i olika branscher, regioner och länder. Kursen ges på engelska.
