Kursen är en fortsättningskurs som bygger på kursen elmaskiner 1. Kursen börjar med att repetera modeller och egenskaper för elmaskiner i statisk drift. Kursen går sedan igenom: - modeller för elektriska maskiner under stationära och dynamiska förhållanden, - vektormetoden för representation av växelströmsmaskiner, - elektriska drivsystem, - principer och metoder för styrning och reglering av växelströms och likströmsmaskiners moment, varvtal och läge. Kursen är uppdelad i tre moment: 1. Teori, 4 hp (Theory, 4 ECTS); 2. Laboration, 1.5 hp (Laboratory, 1.5 ECTS); 3. Projekt, 2 hp (Project, 2 ECTS).
