Electrical machines - free from rare earth materials

Electric vehicles are the transport solution of the future. With an increased demand for electric vehicles, the need for engineers with competence in electrical machines also increases.<br> The course combines theory with practice in various aspects of modelling, including magnetic and electromagnetic circuits. You will learn to master numerical calculation models and gain an understanding of the specific conditions for modeling of electrical machines. The course discusses consequences of different solutions including ethical and sustainability aspects based on magnetic, electrical and thermal design. **Industry and academy** This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness. We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the entry requirements for the course.
