Overview
The course provides advanced knowledge in electrochemistry with a focus on energy storage in batteries. It covers both fundamental theory and practical aspects, as well as advanced electrochemical analysis methods. The course addresses the relationship between electrochemistry, battery electrode design, and the selection of electrode and electrolyte materials. It further analyses polarisation and its importance for electrochemical energy storage and energy conversion. 120 hp inom teknik/naturvetenskap, samt antingen (1) genomgångna kurser Introduktion till energilagring 5 hp, Elektrokemi för batterier I 5 hp och Materialkemi 5 hp; eller (2) Materialkemi 10 hp och Elektrokemi 5 hp, samt minst 5 hp på avancerad nivå inom teknik/naturvetenskap. Engelska 6. (Med en svensk kandidatexamen uppfylls kravet på engelska.)
