Overview
The second part of the general course in English includes a broad introduction to the English language from multiple perspectives. The course includes teaching in culture, literature and language variation in the English-speaking world, and parallel practice in language proficiency. Teaching in linguistics, literature and language proficiency is delivered with the use of ICT. The course is completely online-based and includes no physical meetings. Compulsory examination seminars occur and are scheduled approximately one month before the start of the course at lnu.se/engelska. This is a continuation course in which students develop the knowledge acquired in 1EN191 (English 1, part I). The students do not need to have finished the first part to be eligible for the part II.
