This course is designed for university students who wish to deepen their knowledge of English grammar to produce well-written texts within their field of study. It is ideal for those aiming to enhance their writing skills and ensure grammatical accuracy in their academic work. In this course, students will focus on the rules, conventions, and concepts of English grammar and punctuation. The course aims to provide a thorough understanding of these elements to improve the quality of students' written texts. The course is conducted over one semester at a quarter pace and is delivered through distance learning. It includes a variety of learning activities such as literature studies, lectures, group discussions, and exercises with supervision and peer feedback. There are no physical meetings on campus, but the course requires regular web-based weekly meetings at fixed times.<br> The course includes many web-based moments. For example, all lectures are pre-recorded, and assignments and examinations are web-based. However, all seminars and workshops are weekly and bi-weekly web-based meetings at fixed times.
