Overview
Kursen inleder med att presentera ett spelteoretiskt ramverk som förklarar varför miljöproblem uppstår. I kursen används också teorin om externa effekter i syfte att utvärdera miljöproblemens samhällsekonomiska innebörd. Vidare behandlas olika principiella lösningar på miljöproblem, exempelvis ekonomiska- och administrativa styrmedel, och beteendeinsatser. I kursen diskuteras även den politiska processens roll och utmaningarna med global samordning i klimatfrågan. Studenten ska analysera användningen av styrmedel på valfritt miljöekonomiskt område.
