<p>How can we address global environmental and resource challenges sustainably? In this course, you will explore international solutions and gain tools to understand complex environmental issues. The course is taught in English.</p><p>Environmental problems know no boundaries. Climate change, loss of biodiversity and resource scarcity are global challenges that require international cooperation. This course provides you with knowledge about environmental and resource issues from an international perspective and shows how sustainability principles can be applied in different parts of the world.</p><p>You will gain insight into how environmental issues affect societies and the political, economic and technological solutions being discussed globally. The course encourages active participation in discussions where you and your peers analyse how these challenges can be managed in practice.</p><p>The course can be taken as a stand-alone option and is ideal for anyone interested in sustainable development, international relations and environmental policy.</p><p>Language of instruction: English.</p>
