Kursen behandlar olika typer av antropocentrisk och icke-antropocentrisk etik utifrån människans förhållande till naturen i ett historiskt-, kulturellt- och jämställdhetsperspektiv. Inom kursen fördjupas studier om miljöfrågans kommunikativa praktiker genom att studenten tränas i att kunna sammanställa och syntetisera kunskap om natur och miljö. Dessutom belyses olika målgruppers perspektiv i dessa frågor genom autentiska fall som iscensätts. Kursen behandlar miljöpsykologiska teorier kopplade till hållbar utveckling samt teorier om sambandet mellan natur, miljö och hälsa.
