Overview
<p>Kursen studerar en specifik miljöfråga/hållbarhetsfråga utifrån ett flertal perspektiv där relevanta metoder som används inom miljöarbetet undervisas. En miljökonsekvensbeskrivning (MKB) löper som ett projekt under hela kursen där studenter arbetar i grupp med att arbeta fram en heltäckande MKB. MKBn presenteras och diskuteras i kursens slutskede. Djupdykningar görs inom fyra områden; kemisk analys, reningsteknik, ekosystemeffekt och systemanalys. Varje område innehåller en teoretisk del, där grundläggande koncept och teorier gås igenom, samt en praktisk del där studenterna arbetar planerar, genomför en laboration. En laborationsrapport skrivs och ligger som underlag till MKB projektet. Relevanta statistiska metoder tas upp och används inom respektive område.</p>

Entry requirements
To be admitted to the course 90 credits in natural science studies are required, including knowledge equivalent to MVEA10 Environmental Science: Basic Course 15 credits and MVEC18 Law in Environmental Studies 15 credits.
