Overview
Kursen behandlar neuropsykologisk testning ur ett teoretiskt och praktiskt perspektiv. Det övergripande syftet är att ge goda kunskaper i neuropsykologiskt utredningsarbete, både gällande vuxna och barn, samt god kännedom om ett flertal neuropsykologiska testbatterier för mätning av allmän kognition och begåvning, minnesfunktioner, och exekutiva funktioner. Kursen ger grundläggande färdigheter i att administrera neuropsykologiska test såsom WAIS. Likaså läggs grunderna för resultattolkning och skriftlig avrapportering. Kursen berör även juridiska och etiska aspekter på neuropsykologiskt utredningsarbete samt hur olika faktorer såsom genus, etnicitet, socioekonomi, och ålder inverkar på det neuropsykologiska utredningsarbetet.
