Overview
Fashion is characterized by continuous change. Today, the global fashion system faces several major challenges, while its very foundation is being challenged. The course explores this new potential by unpacking how fashion of the future will be organized and communicated. We will discuss developments in technology, geopolitical tensions, climate change, and shifting ideals and values that can affect both fashion production and consumption patterns. Great importance is placed on independent thinking in relation to specific themes linked to the forward-looking perspective of the course.
