Overview
Kursen består av tre moduler. I den första, Filmhistoria, studeras cinematografiska uttrycksmedel såsom filmiska stilkonventioner och tekniska innovationer som påverkat filmskapare under historien fram till idag. I den andra modulen, Filmproduktion, betonas och tillämpas det praktiska arbete som utförs under en filmproduktion och omfattar förproduktion, produktionsplanering, filminspelning och filmklippning. I den tredje modulen, Reflektion kring filmproduktionsprocesser, utforskas den kollektiva filmproduktionsprocessens grundläggande förutsättningar. Filmens grundelement – iscensättning, regi, foto, ljud och klippning – och deras berättande funktioner berörs ur olika perspektiv i samtliga moduler. Olika yrkesroller introduceras och förståelse för betydelsen av den enskilda filmarbetarens bidrag till teamsamarbetet och resultatet betonas.
