Kursen ger breddad och fördjupad förståelse för ämnet externredovisning samt grundläggande förståelse för företagsfinansiering. Inledningsvis behandlas frågeställningen varför redovisning finns och vilka teoretiska perspektiv som ligger till grund för rådande regelverk. Års- och koncernredovisningens finansiella rapporter studeras sedan med fokus på hur olika redovisningsstandarder påverkar de siffermässiga värden som presenteras och tillhörande nyckeltal. Kursen ger även grundläggande förståelse för företagsfinansiering och hållbarhetsredovisning.
