Overview
<p>Börsnoterade företag utmärks generellt av en klar separation mellan ägande och ledning. Därmed blir analyser av dessa företags verksamhet tätt sammankopplat med bolagsstyrning. Denna kurs fokuserar på den centrala roll redovisning och revision spelar för att skapa förutsättningar för bolagsstyrning.</p> <p>En utgångspunkt i kursen är de internationella standarder som utges av IASB (International Accounting Standards Board) och som benämns IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) och som ska tillämpas av börsnoterade företag i Sverige. Utöver IFRS behandlas i kursen även andra regler, rekommendationer, och principer som styr den finansiella rapporteringen i börsnoterade företag, men också de regler och förhållningsssätt som revisorer i dessa företag måste förhålla sig till.</p> <p>Centralt i kursen är redovisningsteori, som relateras till de specifika situationer som kan uppstå inom ett bolagsstyrningssammanhang.</p>
