Kursen ger dig grundläggande kunskap om de kvalitativa och kvantitativa metoder som vanligen används inom kostvetenskapens område. Under kursen ges en orientering om olika vetenskapliga synsätt, begrepp och perspektiv samt en förståelse för hur olika metoder kan användas för att erhålla kunskap. Kursen behandlar kvalitativ och kvantitativ design av studier, datainsamlingsmetoder och analyser, där övningar i statistik ingår.
