Overview
Mat och måltider är något vi möter varje dag och berör oss alla. För att förstå matens många betydelser för människan behövs kunskap om samhälleliga perspektiv på mat och måltider. För att få en förståelse på hållbara perspektiv i samhället, introduceras de globala och nationella miljömålen och dess utmaningar vid utveckling inom området kost- och måltidsvetenskap. Kursen innehåller teori och tillämpning av olika livsmedels innehåll och människans behov av energi- och näringsämnen för att stärka studentens kunskaper i området då maten har betydelse för folkhälsan.
