Kursen behandlar Michel Foucaults tänkande från sent 1950-tal till hans död 1984. Den historiska bakgrunden, liksom skiftande ställningstaganden från en mer eller mindre strukturalistisk period till frågor om makt och sanning och den sena fasens intresse för sexualitet och subjektet kommer att diskuteras.
