Overview
In this course, you will deepen your knowledge of modern linguistics by focusing on the French language and working on French examples based on French theories of linguistics. You will not only study the language as such, but also improve your language skills through the study of original scientific literature in French, seminar discussions and written assignments. The course thus provides in-depth knowledge of several central and current problem areas in French syntax, semantics or pragmatics.
