The aim of the course is to make the students' ability to understand oral and written French better. After the course, they will also have ameliorated their own oral and written proficiency. Through the study of text, they will also be able to observe as well as describe differences between their own culture and language and the French speaking ones. The French qualifying course is a prerequisite for French classes at the A-level.
