<p>Interested in digital cultural heritage? This course covers methods, theories, technology, ethics, and critical perspectives on how cultural heritage is created and interpreted. </p><p>In this course, you will explore how digital technology is changing the way we document, interpret, communicate, and use cultural heritage. You will receive an introduction to the field of digital cultural heritage and gain an understanding of the key issues, perspectives, and methods that characterize the field today.</p><p>The course provides you with knowledge about how digital representations of cultural heritage are created and used, for example through 3D models, virtual environments, and geographic information. At the same time, you will examine how digital technologies influence knowledge production, participation, and access to cultural heritage.</p><p>You will also discuss current issues related to AI, representation, inclusion, data management, intellectual property rights, and long-term preservation. Throughout the course, you will develop a critical perspective on the possibilities and limitations of technology in the field of cultural heritage.</p><p>The course focuses on providing you with a theoretical understanding and analytical tools to discuss and evaluate the significance of digitization for cultural heritage, research, and society.</p>
