Overview
This foundation module on Cyber Security is intended to provide the reference taxonomy, conceptual models, issues and methods that are essential for a deeper understanding of technology, as well as of more specialised approaches and solutions. Basic concepts, definitions and taxonomy of dependable and secure computing (threat, vulnerability, risk, data integrity and availability, fault-tolerance) will be covered. Hands on experiences will be included for a better understanding of potential and challenges. The contents will reflect the latest research topics as well as industrial practices. Guest lectures by industrial experts will be the highlight of this course.
Admission scores
Entry requirements
120 credits, of which 60 credits in computer science or related subjects. In addition, Swedish B / Swedish 3 and English A / English 6 are required. In cases where the course is given in English, exceptions are made from Swedish B / Swedish 3.
