Overview
Kursen ger dig ökad kunskap om hur mål om social hållbarhet kan främjas praktiskt i olika verksamheter och de dilemman som kännetecknar sådana processer. Social hållbarhet handlar om att förbättra eller bibehålla människors livskvalitet i hållbarhetsomställningar. Målet är ett samhälle som ger medborgarna social rättvisa, jämställdhet, frihet från diskriminering och som värnar de mänskliga rättigheterna. Begrepp som jämställdhet, jämlikhet och vidare frågor om hur genus och andra maktordningar spelar roll blir därmed centrala i ett praktiskt arbete för social hållbarhet. Delkursen tar upp olika exempel på hur förändringsarbete kan bedrivas, samt hur ett intersektionellt genusperspektiv kan tillämpas i praktiskt arbete för social hållbarhet.
