Kursen ger utifrån ett genusvetenskapligt perspektiv en orientering i människors arbetsvillkor i Sverige och globalt, både historiskt och idag. På kursen lär du dig om hur såväl lönearbete som hemarbete struktureras av maktordningar baserade på genus, klass, etnicitet och sexualitet och hur dessa maktordningar reproduceras i arbetsorganisationer. Du lär dig också om hur parrelationer, föräldraskap och hemarbete kan både utmana och återskapa maktrelationer baserade på genus.
