Overview
<p>Gender and our view of men and women is one of the basic organising principles in our society. The course package aims at understanding gender in a global perspective. This means that you will get an introduction to gender in relation to local and global power relations. You will also practice how to identify opportunities for changing the power relations between the sexes. The package comprises the courses <a href="http://utbildning.gu.se/education/courses-and-programmes/course_detail/?courseid=GS1115" target="_blank">GS1115 Global Gender Studies: Perspectives on Sex and Gender</a> and <a href="http://utbildning.gu.se/education/courses-and-programmes/course_detail/?courseid=GS1116" target="_blank">GS1116 Global Gender Studies: Agency and Structure</a>.</p>
