Overview
This course is divided into 4 Modules: Global Labour Migration – Gender, Class, Ethnicity; Culture and Interpersonal Interaction; Global Environmental Issues; Global Governance and International Organizations. After completing this semester, participants will be able to comprehend the theoretical and empirical notions of global issues, in particular issues such as culture, identity and migration. The student will also be able to comprehend labour migration as a truly international phenomenon, to compare its impact on various countries all over the world, and to analyze the situation of different categories of migrants. To discuss and define these issues as concepts and phenomenons and to identifiy these global issues in our contemporary world is also expected learning outcomes. The course is taught in English.
