<p>Infektioner hos vård- eller omsorgstagare som på något sätt kan relateras till den miljö eller de åtgärder hen vistas i eller blir föremål för kallas vårdrelaterade. Vårdrelaterade infektioner är en vanlig komplikation till olika vård- och omsorgsåtgärder och utgör den enskilt vanligaste vårdskadan inom svensk sjukvård. En betydande del av vårdrelaterade infektioner kan förebyggas med korrekt arbetssätt, ändamålsenliga lokaler och lämplig utrustning. Kursen i vårdhygien ger dig som kursdeltagare de kunskaper och färdigheter du behöver för att kunna verka som vårdhygienisk expert gentemot vårdens medarbetare och chefer i detta förebyggande arbete.</p>
