<p>How do air, light and sound affect your health when you are inside buildings? In this online course, you will learn how to create indoor environments that promote health and reduce risks- based on the latest research.</p><p>We spend about 90% of our time indoors, and even more during heatwaves or pandemics. This makes factors such as air quality, temperature, sound and light crucial for our health, comfort and performance. </p><p>This course provides understanding of how these factors affect us and how to create environments that support well-being and productivity. You will learn about the interactions between people, buildings and environmental factors (air pollution, temperature, light and noise) and ways to minimize negative health effects.</p><p>The course is ideal if you are interested in technology, environment and health and want to contribute to sustainable solutions for future buildings. It can be taken as a stand-alone course and is relevant for future engineers and professionals in building, architecture, environmental assessments and environmental technology.</p>
