Equmeniakyrkans identitet, organisation och roll i svensk och internationell kristenhet studeras. Viktiga uppgifter för kyrkan är dels att konkretisera evangeliet i praktisk handling, dels att kunna nå nya människor med evangeliet. Equmeniakyrkan bildades 2011 av Metodistkyrkan i Sverige, Svenska Baptistsamfundet och Svenska Missionskyrkan. År 2007 hade de tre kyrkornas ungdomsförbund bildat qumenia. Mot bakgrund av samhällsutvecklingen i Sverige under 1800-talet studeras orsakerna till varje kyrkas bildande samt deras historia ända fram till bildandet av en ny kyrka. Särskilt belyses de teologiska ståndpunkter som bidragit till formandet av den nya kyrkans identitet.

Grundläggande behörighet. Kurser i teologi 60 hp: Baskurser 30 hp samt kurserna Text, kontext och tolkning 15 hp och Teologi, religion och kyrka i Sverige 15 hp, eller motsvarande.
