Att vara barn eller ung har inneburit olika saker under olika perioder i historien, vilket gör att barn- och ungdomstiden är att se som en föränderlig företeelse. Under kursen belyses detta genom att ta upp såväl barns och ungas levnadsvillkor som den förändrade synen på barndomen och ungdomstiden. Särskilt fokus läggs i detta sammanhang på barns och ungdomars utsatthet i syfte att problematisera uppväxten ur ett historiskt perspektiv. Kursen ges sen eftermiddag/kväll.
