Kursen innebär en ämnesfördjupning inom ett idé- och lärdomshistoriskt område. Området kan ha tematisk, metodologisk och/eller teoretiskt karaktär. På höstterminen är temat Terrorismens idéhistoria, på vårterminen fördjupar vi oss i Miljöhistoria och ekokritik, där delar av undervisningen även sker kvällstid. Arbetet kan ske i olika former, såsom föreläsningar och seminarier men också genom individuell inläsning. Tema för Ämnesfördjupning 2 ska väljas på ett sådant sätt att det inte överlappar med ditt tema för Ämnesfördjupning 1. IL2106 Ämnesfördjupning 1 och IL2107 Ämnesfördjupning 2 kan inte läsas på en och samma termin.
