Overview
Kursen består av två block där det ena blocket är inriktat på teoriuppbyggnad medan det andra blocket skall främja en praktisk tillämpning av teorierna. Kursens ena block behandlar utformning och uppbyggnad av en mindre byggnad med erforderliga byggtekniska lösningar som grund-, vägg- och takkonstruktion och tekniska egenskaper för byggnader såsom värmeisoleringens funktion och egenskaper, fukt, ljudisolering samt brandskydd. Hållbart byggande tas upp utifrån både ett byggtekniskt perspektiv och från ett systemperspektiv på hållbara bostadsområden i sitt större sammanhang. Kursens andra block utgörs av ett projektarbete där ett bostadsområde utformas utifrån kunskap om hållbar utveckling, krav på en god livsmiljö och gällande regelverk. Ritningar, teknisk beskrivning och hållbarhetskriterier tas fram för en mindre byggnad.
