Overview
På kursen studeras boende, segregation och flyttningar och samband däremellan ur ett brett perspektiv. Vidarestuderas orsaker till segregation och hur segregationen påverkar individer och samhällen, och särskilda fall såsom skolsegregation, arbetsmarknadssegregation och segregation av äldre och migranter. Inte minst behandlarkursen hur segregationen påverkas av bostadsmarknaden och av hur olika bostadsområden är utformade. Ettcentralt tema är vad som styr människors flyttningar så som preferenser och bostadsförhållanden, samt hurgrannskap och städer formas av individers flyttningar. Kursen ger prov på metoder och data för analys avsegregation och flyttningar.
