<p>How does human behaviour influence safety in complex aviation systems? In this course, you will deepen your understanding of Human Factors in aviation and learn how people, organisations and technology interact to create safe flight environments.</p><p>The course is primarily aimed at those with experience in the aviation industry and provides an in-depth understanding of human capabilities in complex environments. You will build on concepts within Human Factors and Crew Resource Management (CRM) commonly used in aviation, while broadening and anchoring them in research.</p><p>The course covers system safety, incident investigation and how organisational factors influence human behaviour - both individually and in groups. </p><p>It can be taken as a stand-alone course and is relevant for professionals working or aspiring to work in flight safety, training or management within aviation.</p><p>Prerequisites: Experience in the aviation industry is recommended.</p>
