Overview
Kursen fokuserar på samhällsplaneringens ideologiska och normativa dimensioner. Den behandlar planeringsideologier och deras betydelse för hur samhällen organiseras och förändras. Kursen tar även upp etik relaterat till planering, med betoning på makt, rättvisefrågor och hållbarhetsaspekter. Vidare problematiseras planerarrollen i relation till styrning och de förskjutningar som skett från traditionella hierarkiska modeller till mer nätverks- och samverkansbaserade former av styrning och deltagande. Kursen ger därmed verktyg för att kritiskt analysera planeringens roll som samhällelig praktik, ideologiskt projekt och arena för förhandling om framtidens rumsliga ordningar.

Kandidatexamen om minst 180 hp, varav minst 90 hp med successiv fördjupning inom huvudområdet kulturgeografi eller motsvarande. Dessutom antingen gymnasiets Engelska 6 eller gymnasiets Engelska nivå 2.
