<p>Kursen ges som obligatorisk kurs under andra året på kandidatprogrammet Samhällsplanering - urban och regional utveckling, 180 högskolepoäng.</p><p>Kursen introducerar studenten till begrepp som används för att analysera samhället (såsom kön, klass och etnicitet) samt hur olika aspekter av samhället påverkar och<br /> påverkas av samhällsplanering. Vidare lyfts debatter och perspektiv som problematiserar social ojämlikhet i planering samt dess koppling till politiska frågor<br /> kring demokrati, rättvisa och jämlikhet. De teman som lyfts relaterar till olika social geografiska frågor och processer inom urban och regional planering. Kursen ämnar till<br /> att ge studenten kompetens att individuellt identifiera och kritiskt reflektera kring frågor kopplade till den sociala sidan av samhällsplanering, såsom integration, segregation och nationell och internationell migration.</p>
