Overview
Kursen behandlar hur organisationen av företag och marknader har förändrats och hur detta samspelat med samhällsutvecklingen i stort. I fokus står bland annat hur ägande och styrning av företag förändrats över tid. Vidare problematiseras hur företag anpassat sig till nya omvärldsvillkor såsom politiska regleringar, teknisk utveckling, förändrade konkurrensförhållanden och efterfrågemönster samt branschspecifika förutsättningar som tillgången till produktionsfaktorer. Kursen ger både ett internationellt och ett svenskt perspektiv, där den svenska utvecklingen jämförs med internationella mönster. Under kursen introduceras källkritiska metoder och teoretiska begrepp som möjliggör egna företagshistoriska studier och jämförelser.
