Overview
Den här kursen riktar sig till dig som är intresserad av infektioner och smittskydd och även till dig som funderar på en utbildning inom det medicinska området. Innehållet i kursen är högaktuellt, inte minst med tanke på pandemin med den virusorsakade sjukdomen covid-19 och dess stora konsekvenser på samhällsnivå. Du kommer att få en introduktion till infektioner och hur vårt immunförsvar fungerar. I kursen diskuteras också hur infektioner kan behandlas och förebyggas genom olika smittskyddsåtgärder. Även det växande problemet med multiresistenta bakterier kommer att tas upp under kursen. För att understryka vikten av olika professioners samspel inom infektion och smittskydd kommer lärare med olika professionsbakgrund att medverka.
