Informatics: Information Systems and Business Development

<p>The main focus of the course is information systems (IS) and business development. You further develop your skills in managing and modelling business processes (with process modelling) and data (with Entity-Relationship modelling). You will also learn about security aspects related to information systems and business, as well as ethical aspects.</p><p>The course has elements of modelling and development assisted by tools based on artificial intelligence (AI). You will use these to develop databases to support business processes and meet the data storage needs of organisations. For this, the cloud platform Microsoft Azure is used where you will build and deploy databases.</p> <p>A central part of the course is Enterprise Architecture as a strategic approach to designing, managing, and evolving an organisation's structure and to ensure coherence between it and its technical infrastructure so that the infrastructure supports business objectives.
