Overview
Would you like to learn more about the different roles and functions of International Organizations (IO) in world politics? Would you like to learn more about different themes and issues of IO in world politics? If so, you have to study this course about IO:s. The course addresses and problematizes various contemporary theoretical and political discussions with regard to the role of formal international organisations. Various essential international and regional organisations within peace and safety, economy, and humanitarian issues are discussed on the basis of the structure, decision-making process and functions of these organisations. At least one international organisation and one specific current theme in the world or in Europe are discussed in detail.
