Overview
In the course, you plan, carry out and present a scientific investigation independently. The work includes formulating a defined research problem, collecting relevant material, using methods and theory formation that are relevant to international relations to carry out a credible analysis, and to draw independent and well-founded conclusions. The work is presented in the form of an essay that is dealt with at an examination seminar where you also constructively discuss another student's essay. A large part of the teaching takes place in the form of individual supervision.

Admission to the course requires a passed result in 30 credits core courses and 30 credits advanced courses in international relations and passed result on method courses of 15 credits in global studies, or the equivalent.
