Overview
The course consists of both practical and theoretical elements, including detailed analyses of speeches from different cultures and concrete presentation exercises tied to intercultural aspects. Breathing and speech techniques are practised. Furthermore, the course includes concrete exercises in planning, structuring, carrying out and reviewing oral presentations. The use of presentation software for oral presentations is also part of the training. These practical elements are linked to the theory of rhetoric. The issue of the gender aspects of rhetoric is also discussed.
