Overview
Kursen är en orientering till arkeologiämnet. Efter kursen har du grundläggande kännedom om arkeologiska teorier, metoder och källmaterial, samt om tolkningar av förhistorien i norden och globalt från äldsta förhistoria och framåt. Du har vidare kunskap om den svenska, och i viss mån den globala, arkeologins organisation och samhällsroll. I kursen deltar du också i exkursioner till fornlämningsmiljöer i Västsverige och i studiebesök till museer och andra relevanta arkeologiska miljöer.
