Overview
Kursen är en introduktion till studier i konst- och bildvetenskap och ger en grundläggande översikt över ämnets historia och nuvarande praktik. Genom praktiska övningar och litteraturstudier övar sig studenten i att själv börja praktisera konst- och bildvetenskap och för att förankra denna praktik i ett historiskt och akademiskt sammanhang. Följande moduler ingår: **Modul 1. Konst- och bildvetenskapens historia** (3 hp) *The history of Art History and Visual Studies* Modulen ger en introduktion till ämnet konst- och bildvetenskap och dess historia samt till hur konst- och bildbegrepp används i olika sammanhang. **Modul 2. Konst- och bildvetenskap i praktiken** (4,5 hp) *Art History and Visual Studies in practice* I modulen exemplifieras, diskuteras och praktiseras bildanalys utifrån olika teoretiska och metodologiska tillvägagångssätt.
