Introduction to cyber security of industrial systems

This course will give an introduction to IT and OT-security (information technology and operation technology, ie. process control), with a special focus on industrial production systems. We will discuss IT security in a broad context, and specifically talk about threats to production systems. We will also talk about how a security system can be setup, with the help of both technical methods like authentication and access control, as well as with non technical methods like laws, regulations, standards and education. **<br> Industry and academy**<br> This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at the advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness.
