Overview
The purpose of this online course is for the students to acquire basic knowledge of strategic sustainable development, which then enables participation in some other SSD-related courses at BTH. The course has a structure that enables self-paced studies, support from teachers via webinars, and feedback on assignments. It contains a background on un-sustainability, sustainability and sustainable development, strategic thinking and planning in the context of sustainable development. It also contains a science-based definition of ecological and social sustainability, and how that can be applied to create sustainability transformations. Further information about learning entry requirements, learning outcomes, and examinations can be found in the course syllabus.
