Overview
<p>Since all processing of personal data in the EU must comply with GDPR, knowledge about data protection law is essential for any organisation’s digital transformation. Failure to protect the privacy of its customers and employees may result in huge fines and cause serious reputational damage.</p><p>In this course, you will learn the basics of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since 2018, its rules are directly applicable in all EU/EES member states and enforced by national supervisory authorities. The course is aimed at anyone who needs basic knowledge about data protection law (e.g., data scientists, information technology, cybersecurity or human resources professionals).</p>
