Overview
Kursen vänder sig till dig som vill veta mer om livet i havet, känna till de vanligaste livsmiljöerna som finns där och de miljöhot som finns mot det marina livet. Kursen innehåller följande moment: livets uppkomst och historia, grundläggande oceanografi och provtagningsmetodik, hur havet som livsmiljö fungerar och skiljer sig från land, genomgångar av marina växt och djurgrupper, hur organismerna i havet samspelar med varandra och sin miljö, livsmiljöer i havet samt miljöfrågor för havet. I kursen ingår ett fältmoment förlagt till en fältstation under ett veckoslut (fredag eftermiddag – söndag middag) där studenterna får bekanta sig med provtagningsmetodik och våra vanligaste marina arter - växter och djur.
