<p>Gain a fundamental understanding of statistics and how it is applied in economics and social sciences. The course covers a few important probability distributions, descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and basic association analysis. You will learn to interpret and critically evaluate statistical analyses and results presented in media and other contexts, and gain the tools to make well-founded, insightful decisions.</p>
